Mumbai ....mere jaan ! Part I

Life in a metro..............No, its not about our very own Bollywood movie but the people living and flourishing and sprouting and mushrooming and spring into a new life everyday in Mumbai.......The city has all the Z's to it,it has the zest to evolve and zeal to survive.......Though life is quite mechanical and erractic and zombies in every nook and corner but still the there is something that makes the city interesting and clicking......

My recent trip was by far a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. My life was at a complete halt after tossing and turning between work and leading a pretty mundane exitence .
Though i have been to Mumbai , but this time it was different. Maybe it was choosing in between Mumbai and Delhi so the whole comparison came in....

By far i realised that Mumbai....the city has a alluring persona to it, though its busy, noisy, dirty specially in monsoons, flooding with water, traffic jams, narrowness, congestion, pit holes, people jumping and running to catch a over- crowded local train and not to forget the slums..... but nothing dampen the high-sprited mumbaikars. The city is exploding with energy and growth...

Commuting by car is a problem especially for people form North, coz we have the habbit of wide and smooth roads, easy connectivity and a relaxed and lil' laid back attitude.Maybe, it might not be true for everbody ,who travel between Noida and Gurgoan on a daily basis.

Mumbai is still basking with the glory of colonial rule...the old building and monument showcase the ethnicity and culture of this city.Though many old mills and compounds have given place to high rising and growing demands of city. But still ,the city has multi-cultural and multi-lingual touch to it.....authenticating its presence on the world map as the most popular cities in the world.

Mumbai ,"the city of dreams" is a home to hundreds and thousands of people who arrive in the city with zilch, and made fortune for themselves. The city with its fanatic lifestyle and hul-la-ba-loo still facinates the dreamers.

"Mumbai the city that never sleeps" holds true coz as the day settle down to dusk ,the magnificent city shows another facet, its NIGHT LIFE.The way stars twinkle in the galaxy......so is this city, illuminated with billion of lights, twinkling and sparkling, casting a spell on us.......... Is that a hallucination,No its true. The mantra is" Work Hard And Party Harder".Though Delhi has the best Night Life in the country.

Another difference was in the dressing sense, though i think quite high of apna Delhi but general people in mumbai ,give a miss to their dressing style. They are quite SIMPLE....in taste, then their cousin Delhites.Maybe the hum-dum of life leaves no scope for every piece to fall in place....whatever it is its "THE COOL" attitude of Mumbai.

The only similarity found in both the cities is its sky rocketting price of real estate. Both Mumbai and Delhi real state prices are sky high, comparing with New York, London,Hong Kong,Tokyo
Delhi being the capital of our country and Mumbai, the commercial and entertainment capital of our country.Though both the cities have contrasting differences yet they are " The Dream Catcher" for "the young and restless" and for people with" never say die" attitude..........................
